CNC Lathe with Rear Feeding, Model 0640#
This type of lathe is specifically designed for mass production of finished parts that start as individual blanks. Common applications include:
Fasteners: Screws, bolts, nuts, and washers.
Automotive Parts: Pistons, pins, valve components, and gears.
Hardware Components: Fittings, connectors, and precision machined parts.
Plastic & Rubber Parts: Machining of pre-molded plastic components.
Main Features
Vibratory Bowl Feeding System
The machine is equipped with a high-frequency vibratory bowl feeder. This system uses vibration to orient and sort small to medium-sized workpieces (such as blanks, nuts, or pre-formed parts) automatically. It ensures a steady and continuous supply of raw materials to the lathe.
Front Loading Mechanism
Different from rear feeding (which uses bar stock), this machine employs a front-loading system. A robotic arm or mechanical finger takes the oriented workpiece from the vibratory bowl and places it directly into the chuck or collet at the front of the spindle. This is ideal for machining discrete parts rather than long bars.
High Efficiency & Labor Saving
By combining the vibratory bowl's automatic sorting with the front-loading mechanism, the machine achieves a high degree of automation. It can run continuously for extended periods without manual loading, significantly reducing labor costs and increasing production output.
Versatile Machining
Suitable for turning, drilling, boring, threading, and grooving operations on a variety of pre-cut blanks or castings. It is widely used in the hardware, automotive, and fastener industries.
